Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy explains how FirstByte Media LLP collects, uses, and protects information when you visit cryptogamble.com and its related subdomains, including our B2B operator portal at b2b.cryptogamble.com. We are the data controller responsible for the personal data described here.

Last updated: 21 May 2026

The short version

We keep data collection deliberately minimal. We are a trust and review platform, not an advertising business, and we do not build behavioural profiles of our visitors or sell data to anyone.

In plain terms:

  • We use product analytics to understand how the Site is performing and to find and fix errors.
  • We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.
  • If you create a B2B operator account, we process the account and submission data you give us so we can deliver the service you have signed up for.
  • We use a small number of trusted infrastructure providers to run the Site.

That is essentially all of it. The rest of this document sets out the detail required by law.

This policy is written to comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. If you have questions, contact us at privacy@firstbytemedia.com.

Information we collect

Information collected automatically

When you use the Site, we collect limited technical and usage information through our product analytics provider, PostHog. This may include:

  • Pages viewed and actions taken on the Site
  • Approximate location derived from IP address (city or region level, not precise location)
  • Device, browser, and operating system information
  • Referring website or source
  • Date and time of access

We use this information to understand how the Site performs, to see how features and pages are being used, and to identify and fix errors. We do not use it to build individual behavioural profiles, to track you across other websites, or to sell to advertisers.

Information you provide directly

You may give us personal data directly when you:

  • Contact us by email or through a form on the Site
  • Subscribe to communications, where offered

Information from affiliate link activity

When you click an affiliate link on the Site, limited technical information may be processed to attribute that click and any resulting activity to us, as described in our Cookie Policy. This is how we are credited by the casinos we link to. We do not receive your personal account information from those casinos.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the Site, and only to the extent necessary. Our core providers are:

  • Supabase (database and authentication)
  • Vercel (hosting and deployment)
  • Cloudflare (security, content delivery, and bot protection)
  • Resend (transactional email delivery)
  • PostHog (product analytics)

Each of these acts as a data processor on our behalf, under terms that require them to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

We may also disclose data where we are legally required to do so, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy:

  • B2B account data: for as long as the account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
  • Analytics data: retained for a limited period and then aggregated or deleted in line with our analytics configuration.
  • Enquiry correspondence: kept as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@firstbytemedia.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by law. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), although we would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls, encryption in transit, and the security features provided by our infrastructure partners. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data protected and to respond quickly to any incident.

The Site is intended for adults aged 18 or over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. The Site relates to gambling content and is strictly for adults.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify affected users. Significant changes affecting B2B operators will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible.
